Roseanne Lament

Was born August 23, 1936 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Walter C. and Eva (McNeil) Granger went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the AOMC with her family at her side. Her husband, John R. LaMent Jr., daughter, Cynthia LaMent, granddaughters, Jennifer and Amy LaMent, great grandson, Nathaniel Stephens, daughter-in-law, Margie (Jackson) LaMent, step-father, Ray Kline Sr. all predeceased her. She is survived by her loving children, John LaMent, Debbie LaMent, Phyllis (Bruce) Stephens, Darlene LaMent (Donna Hitchcock) and Judy (Rickey) Paul; brothers, Thomas (Sue) Granger, Ray Kline Jr. and Donald (Diana) Kline; special aunt, Olive Kline; brother-in-law, Stephen LaMent; along with 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many friends and her canine companion, "Teddy". Rose was a dedicated bus driver for the Horseheads School District for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Golden Glow Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Big Flats American Legion. Rose enjoyed bowling, bingo and watching the New York Mets. Most important to Rose was her family, especially her grandkids. Family and friends are invited to gather at Elmira Christian Center 235 East Miller Street Elmira on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 5 PM. Her son-in-law, Rickey Paul will celebrate Rose's services.
