Rowena Pearl Hill Bourdette O

Was born March 4, 1918 in Fallbrook, PA the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruby (Naylor) Hill, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 while under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Mary Jane and Russell Tice of Gillett, PA; Clarice and David Low of Brunswick, GA; Sharon and Richard Bragg of Brunswick, GA; Ronald D. and Toni Bourdette of Millerton, PA; James and Priscilla Bourdette of Ormond Beach, FL; along with 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. Her husbands, Clarence Bourdette, Bill OMelia and Clifford Lewis predeceased Rowena. She was a graduate of Troy High School and retired from Posey Fence Company after several dedicated years as a secretary. A native of Fallbrook, PA, she has resided in Brunswick, GA for the past 31 years. Rowena was a faithful member of the Glyndale Baptist Church and a member of the Monday and Wednesday Bunco Clubs. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Sunday, January 21, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring her life will be celebrated by the Reverend Dave Dressler, pastor of the Bakerfield Community Church in Mainesburg, PA. Memorial Donations may be directed to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway Brunswick, GA 31525 or to a Hospice of your choice in her memory.
