Rustin R. BriggsAge 69, Went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday November 2, 2014 at his home in Elmira Heights, NY.Rustin was born in Endicott, NY September 17, 1945. He was the son of the late Bernetta (Grow) French.Rustin is a veteran having served in the Vietnam War with the United States Navy.He was predeceased by his brother, Merland and his sister Barbara.Rustin is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Christina and Robert Wheeler; 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all those who gave their time and effort to help during this difficult time.A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Davis Street, Elmira, NY on Thursday November 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM with military honors.
