Ruth E. Vandermark

Age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20, 2004 at St. Joseph?s Hospital Elmira, NY. She was born December 1, 1921 in Elmira, the daughter of the late George R. and Christina (Plank) Vandermark. She is survived by her beloved sister, Frances C. Vandermark of Horseheads, NY; brother, Arthur C. (Peggy) Vandermark Sr. of Horseheads, NY; loving son and daughter-in-law, Donald E. and Carolyn Vandermark of Macedon, NY; much-loved granddaughters, Regina and Deborah Vandermark of Macedon, NY; cousin, Wealtha Sullivan of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Ruth was a member of the Southside Baptist Church since her childhood. She retired from F. W. Woolworth?s after 40 + years of dedicated service as a clerk. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Thursday, December 23, 2004 from 1 to 3 PM. Funeral Services celebrating Ruth?s life will follow the visitation. (3:00 PM) The Reverend David Daniels will officiate.
