Samuel Heath

Age 89 of Gillett, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, the 27th day of December 2006 at the Bradford County Manor. Samuel is the son of the late Joseph and Emma Matson Heath. He was born August 12, 1917 in Lacquin, PA. He is survived by his wife and devoted friend of 65 years Marie Blodgett Heath; his children, Maxine Dunkle of Pine City, Samuel Jr. (Joline) Heath of Laceyville, Thomas (Claudia) Heath of Breesport, Joe Heath of Fredericksburg, VA, Nancy (Joe) Meriwether of Elmira; eleven grandchildren and 13 beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Taylor of Elmira. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Funeral and committal services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 3:00 PM. The Reverend Allen Goss will officiate. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport. Samuel was a devoted employee of the Remington Rand Co. of 36years. He also worked for Westinghouse, Ward LaFrance and Wiese Markets. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
