Sanders Yattaw

Age 89 of St. Joseph?s Apartments, Elmira passed away on Friday, April 25, 2003 at home.She was born May 22, 1913, the next oldest of 7 sisters and 1 brother born to William (who was a coal miner) and Hester Taylor Sanders of Lovejoy, PA.She enjoyed crafting and summers at Keuka Lake. Geneva was a retired Registered Nurse from St. Joseph?s Hospital. Her husband, James in 1991; one brother; several sisters; and a granddaughter, predeceased Geneva.She is survived by her son, Robert Clarence (Lois) Yattaw of Saugerties, NY; three married grandchildren, Kathy (Michael) Grugnale, Nancy (William Haines) Yattaw, and David (Kimberly) Yattaw; four great-grandchildren, all of Rochester, NY; sisters, Edna (Jack) Powell of Elmira, Pearl Duffalo of Homer City, PA, and Dorothy Soltis of Michigan.Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 10 AM.Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? for the family at www.olthof.com.
