Santa P. Crupi

Age 82 of Elmira, NY, formerly of LaPlata, MD, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, January 29, 2004.Santa was the daughter of the late Biagio and Maria Boungiorno Palella, born in Albany, NY in November of 1921. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph S. Crupi, in 1993 and one brother.She is survived by her children, Joseph R. (Charlene) Crupi of Long Valley, NJ; James R. (Lisa) Crupi of Elmira, NY; Janice C. (Michael) Metz of LaPlata, MD; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and numerous other loving relatives.Santa received her Master?s Degree from the University of Maryland, and combined being a homemaker with being a Professor of English at Prince George?s Community College for 20 years.Her main desire in life was to share her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ and to encourage others to place their trust in Him.Since moving to Elmira, Santa loved being an active member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church.It was Santa?s wish to have all her formal funeral services in Clinton, MD.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Christian Faith Fellowship Church, PO Box 4212, Elmira, NY 14904.
