PFLEEGOR, Sara Jane (Brickley)Of Elmira, NYWas born April 22, 1930 in Avis, PA the daughter of the late Argyle and Eleanor E. (Rodabaugh) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 8, 2008 at the age of 78. Her sister, Louella Snyder and great grandson, Kylan predeceased her. Sara is survived by her loving husband Thomas with whom she would have celebrated 60 wonderful years of life and love with this coming September second; beloved children: two sons, Steven; James (Jim) and his wife Gwen; daughter, Barbara and her husband Bob Roe; 6 adored grandchildren, Shelley (Paris), Erin (Jeremy), Matt (Gina), Jason (Erin), Lisa (A.J.), Adam: 11 much-loved great grandchildren, Jacob, Johnny, Taylar, Nicky, Mikayla, Alex, Michael, Haley, Gracie Jane, Caleb, Emma James; brother, Duane (Helen Ann) Brickley; along with several nieces and nephews. Throughout Saras life, her faith sustained her. Family was most important to her and she was surrounded by their love and respect. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Bethany Lutheran Church 256 South Walnut Street Elmira, NY on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 11:30 AM where the Reverend Abigail Hoffman will officiate the memorial service to honor Mrs. Pfleegors life. Harpist Mary Alice Little will honor Saras memory with special music. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family in the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
