Scott J. Covell

Scott J. CovellWas born January 26, 1963 in Elmira the son of Richard and Rosalie (Pelow) Covell passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the age of 51. His parents, Richard and Rosalie and his brother, Martin "Marty" Covell preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Michelle; children: Eric (Brenda) Ripley, Lindsy (David) Ripley and Adam Ripley all of Florida; grandchildren, David and Jonalee; siblings: Richard (Robin) Covell of Florida; Randy (Wendy) Covell of Elmira, NY; Kelly Covell also of Elmira, NY; Shannon (Thomas) Fletcher of Elmira, NY; nieces and nephews: Tiffany and Brian Bogucki; Joshua Covell; David and Devin Hall; Ricky Sawyer; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. For many years, Scott was a carpenter in Florida. He loved animals and fishing. He was an avid New York Yankees and Pittsburg Steeler fan. Scott had a great sense of humor, enjoyed laughter and will be remembered for the love he showed to everyone. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Scott's life on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Harris Hill at 2:00 PM.
