Sharon E. Tompkins

Was born December 15, 1949 in Elmira, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Bradford County Manor where she has resided since 2001 and has also received the utmost love and care. She is survived by her loving son, Christopher Tompkins of Elmira, NY; beloved mother, Shirley Smith of Elmira, NY; brothers, Timothy Smith also of Elmira, NY; James Smith ofCorning, NY; sister, Karen Mathewson of North Carolina; along with several nieces and nephews. After graduating from high school, Sharon received her nursing degree from the Montgomery Nursing Community College. She was then a Registered Nurse for the Montgomery County in Norristown, PA for many years. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 1:30 to 2:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 2 PM. The Reverend Michael Weeden will celebrate Sharon's service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
