Sheila Vondracek

Sheila M. (Morse) Vondracek, Age 75 of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at home. Sheila was born June 12, 1948 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Watson) Morse. She was retired from the Palms Restaurant where she enjoyed serving those hungry customers for 20 plus years. Sheila enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casinos but family was the most important part of her life. She had just returned from vacationing with her family on spring break just prior to her passing.

Surviving is a son, Robert Kinsman III of Elmira, a step-son, James Vondracek of Elmira, two step-daughters, Jenna Rickard of Daytona Beach, FL and Jamie Medel of California, six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Sheila was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Stacy Kinsman, husband James L. Vondracek in 2020, a grandson, Morgan Cloke and her sister Gail Shaw.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 6 to 7 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904. Her memorial service will be held there following calling hours at 7 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY.
