Mr. Hunt was born October 16, 1913 at Saugerties, NY the son of the late Richard F. and the late Mary Howel (Longendyke) Hunt.She predeceased him Nov. 25, 1985. He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1945 during World War II. He was retired from Sears Roebuck, Elmira, NY in 1977. He is survived byone daughter: Jeannine And George Stone of Millerton, PA two sons: Sheldon K. And Maryellyn Hunt, Jr. of Horseheads, NY, Harold And Rita Hunt of Greece, NY one sister: Grace Hunt Buzako of Pine City, NY two brothers: Wallace And Gretchen Hunt of Webb Mills, NY, Robert And Lorraine Hunt of New Port Richey, FL He was predeceased by his father, Richard F. Hunt, mother, Mary H. Longendyke Hunt, wife, Jeannette Claire Federico Hunt, brother, Charles (Frank) Hunt, sister, Leona Hunt Reilly, brother, Richard (Dick) Hunt, brother, Clifton (Tip) Hunt, sister, Ella Hunt, brother, Harold (Bud) HuntCalling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira.The funeral will be Sunday at 9:00 PM with Rev. Jack Bunde officiating.
