Sherrill Lucy VanRiperAge 68 Of Elmira, NY. Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on January 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Maurice and Frances Grace VanRiper.She is survived by, brother Rollin E. (Donna) VanRiper; sisters, Linda R. VanRiper; Karen G. (John “Jay”) Kozinsky; nieces and nephews, Kristina (Robert) VanRiper-White, Andrea VanRiper, Steven Kozinsky, and Timothy (Lindsay) Kozinsky; great nieces and nephews, John Austin III, Erica Austin, Allison Kozinsky, and Kimberly Kozinsky, and best friend, Kathy Aldrich.Sherrill was a member and treasurer of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, NASCAR, Drag Racing, and familyRetired after 38 years of service from VESID with New York State.Family and friends are invited to call at New Beginnings United Methodist Church, Miller St. Elmira, NY on Thursday April 30, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at 3:00 PM, Pastor Leanne Zeck.Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
