Shirley B. Hart

Age 79, of Valley Avenue passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the home of her daughter on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eva (Gunshaw) Blakey, loving husband of 58 years, Lewis E. Hart Jr. and son-in-law, Christopher Hughson. She is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Hart of Wellsburg, NY; Deborah (Stephen) Parsons of Elmira Heights, NY; Cynthia Hughson also of Elmira Heights, NY; grandchildren, Justin and Nicholas Hart; step-grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Jason and Jessica Parsons; grandchildren, Christopher Hughson and Jennifer (Patrick) Mallcaoccio; along with several other relatives and many friends. At her request there will be no prior calling hours and she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at a later date. Shirley was blessed by lasting friendships with everyone she touched.
