Shirley M. Ricks

Age 67 passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Chemung County Nursing Facility, Elmira.She was born April 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Tuthill) Crowningshield.Shirley is survived by her children; William & Sandra Ricks of Wellsburg, NY, Patricia & Martin Makowiec of Elmira, Barbara & Lawrence Madden of Elmira, Timothy & Renee Ricks of Elmira; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Crowningshield of Elmira, Robert (Cheryl) Crowningshield of Erin; brothers-in-law, Robert Ricks of Syracuse, Fred (Beverly) Ricks of TN; sister-in-law, Cheryl Lonie of Elmira; several nieces & nephews.She was predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas in 2001; daughter, Debra Robinson; granddaughter, Jennifer Ricks; and sister, Nancy Roark.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira on Saturday, October 25, 2003 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.Funeral service will be there at the conclusion of calling hours (5:00 PM).
