Shirley N. Woychak, 82 of Pine City, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at the Geneva Living Center. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Nicholas "Gene" Woychak; parents, Seth and Mabel Norris; brother, Gordon Norris; sisters, Jeannette Matusko and Gloria Montayne. Shirley is survived by her loving children, Michael (Susan) Woychak, John (Jan) Woychak and Sharon (Tony) Faulisi; sister, Charlotte Rose; grandchildren, Allison (Scott), Michelle, Stephanie, Nicholas, Megan, and Mindy; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Madison, Marcella and Mia; brother-in-law, John (Barbara) Woychak; sister-in-law, Sharon (Jim) Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews. Shirley retired from the newborn nursery of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after over 25 years of service. She was a member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church for many years. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who loved spending time with her family. Those wishing may make memorials to the Children’s Miracle Network at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, 600 Roe Avenue, Elmira NY 14905 or to a charity of their choice. A service celebrating Shirley’s life will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church, 1238 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pine City at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Southport, NY. Shirley’s guest book may be signed at www.olthof.com.
