Sophie J. Batrouney
of Bethany Manor, Horseheads, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
Sophie was born in Elmira, NY on April 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Samuel and Yamna (Williams) Batrouney.
Sophie retired from Sears and Roebuk in Horseheads. She enjoyed playing golf and walking her dogs.
Sophie is survived by nieces, Debra Haldeman, Vicki Stover, Patricia Jannett;  several great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, Sophie was predeceased by her siblings, Charles, John, Helen, Mary, and Nancy.
Private graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, at the convenience of the family.
