Stanley Adrian Arnold

Stanley Adrian Arnold, age 86 of Pine City, NY entered his eternal life with our Lord on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Stanley was born on February 21, 1932 in Athens, PA, the son of Howard & Marie Arnold. After graduation, Stan received his Bachelor's in Economics at Lycoming College. After college, he joined the Army in 1956 where he was stationed in Germany as Army Counter Intelligence. After serving his country, Stan met the love of his life, Eva, at the local paint store...they were married on December 14, 1963. Stan worked Accounting at Thatcher Glass and was retired from Artistic Greetings. Once retired, he operated his own business Tidy-up Supervac Service for several years. In addition to his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his sisters, Edith & Vivian Arnold; sister-in-law, Joan; mother & father-in-law, Evelyn & Richard Scott; & his beloved grandson Matthew Arnold, whom he held in his arms every day of Matthew's life. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eva Louise Arnold; brother, Leon (Jamie) Arnold; children, Vickie (Joe) Seymour, Dianna (Dale) Lunger, Lori (Rick) Weaver, AliceSue (Brian) Curren, Scott (Margi) Arnold, Tammie (Dan) Fruitt & Brian Arnold; 19 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Elcor Health Services and Rehab & Dr. Mauri for their constant care. The family will receive relatives & friends at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY, Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4-7PM, followed by a funeral service at 7PM. Internment will be at the family's convenience.
