Stanley C. RzengotaAge 83 of Elmira, NY passed away on June 28, 2012 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Stanley was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Krypel Rzengota.He is survived by his children: Susan L. Olthof, Reverend Bruce D. (Cheryl) Rzengota of Norwalk, OH, Colleen M. (Dr. Vincent) LaDelia; grandchildren: Timothy Olthof, Chris Rzengota, Becca Rzengota, Gregory Harris, Jamie (Stephen) Lincoln, Stephan LaDelia, Adrian LaDelia, Julian LaDelia, and Thomas LaDelia. He is predeceased by his wife of 56 years Marlene and grandson, Scott Olthof. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, on Monday July 2, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Stanley’s funeral service will there Tuesday July 3,at 10:00 AM. Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Stan was a sociable man who will best be remembered as a gardener, hunter and fisherman.He was a communicant of St. Casmir’s Church. He retired after 36 years from American Bridge Works, US Steel.During his lifetime Stanley was employed at the Woodlawn Cemetery, City of Elmira DPW.He last worked at Elmira Psychiatric Center until his retirement.
