Taryn Bocage

Taryn BocageAge 54 of Elmira, NY passed away into eternal rest Wednesday April 4, 2012. She was born in Paterson, NJ February 9, 1958 to James and Armida (Blandina) Brown. In 1980 she married husband Larry who survives her. Also surviving are son Dante’ (Nichole) Bocage and grandchildren, Nolan and Evelyn all of Pine City, NY.Her parents predeceased her but she has three loving sisters, Robbin Brown (Luke Johnson) of Laurinburg, NC, Jerwan Vieira (Ken Vanzile) and Selina Brown, all of Wanaque, NJ; two precious nieces, Megan Vieira of Lincoln Park, NJ, and Jayne Vieira of Little Falls, NJ,will miss her dearly. Taryn was a devoted wife and mother. Throughout her life she had various jobs but finally found joy being a Childcare Provider and received her CDA teaching certificate. She was last employed at the Arnot Daycare Center. There she loved and took care of her “babies” in the infant room. She will be greatly missed by all the friends, staff and parents who knew her. In lieu of flowers those wishing to may make donations to the Faulk Cancer Center, 600 Roe Ave. Elmira, NY 14905. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
