Dunlap, Terry William (EFA’s Chemistry God) “Admiral Paddle Harder” “Papa” age 65 of Elmira, NY passed away Monday, December 17th, 2012 at home after a hard fight against Multiple Myeloma. He was surrounded by the love of his family, dearest friend and beloved wife of 30 years , Marcia. Terry was born in Kingston, Pa March 21st, 1947. He is the son of Bill and Ellie Dunlap of Mehoopany, PA; Brother: Kevin and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beloved children;Colleen (Pat) Herrick- Shaw of Manlius, NY, Roni Herrick of Elmira, NY and Rob (Erin) Herrick also of Elmira; Grandchildren: Alexis Herrick, Taylor Niles, Lucas Herrick, Jake Herrick-Martin, Olivia Herrick, Allyson Shaw, Ava Herrick; Extended family and friends: Rae (Don)McDermott-Burlew, Lisa (Mike) McDermott-Gaboriault, Cheryl McDermott-Logue, David McDermott, and Jan Koen. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held following the calling hours at 4:00PM. Pastors Chip Posse and William Vallet will officiate.Graveside services will remain private.Terry was raised in Mehoopany, Pa. He graduated from Penn State University class of 1969 with a degree in Science. He began teaching in Elmira City School District in September 1969, until his illness forced him to retire in 2005. He lovedhis many students and his job. He loved to sail, play golf, and be surrounded by his family on Seneca Lake.
