Age 57 of Fassett, Pa. Passed away Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at his home surrounded by the love and care of his wife Bonnie. Teddy was a proud Army Veteran and dedicated employee of Anchor Glass where he had numerous friends and coworkers. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lottie Bielafski Johnson. Born on the 29th day of July 1951 in Troy, PA.Teddy is survived by his loving wife and friend Bonnie of Fassett, PA, son, Joseph (Des) Johnson of Gillett, PA, daughter, Stephanie Johnson (Verne Johnston) of Gillett, PA,step daughters, Brandi Clark of East Smithfield, PA, Bambi (Dave) Jackson, Canton, PAstep son, Brandon Clark, Troy, PA, step daughter, Sarah Smith of Mansfield, PA, step son, Sam Smith Jr. of Mansfield, PA, and step daughter, SammiJo Smith of Fassett, PA, grandchildren, Lindsey, Cody, and Alyssa Johnson, also Kenade Johnston, step grandchildren, Kreyanna, Shynell,and Joslyn Jackson, sisters, Shirleyann(Arthur Skip)Young of Odessa, NY, Jeannett(Gene) Sorge of Campbell, NY, several nieces, nephews great nieces and nephews, best friend growing up Tommy Kelly from Greensboro, NC, Teddy was predeceased by his grandson, Jordan Chilson and brother, William Lewis Johnson. He will always be remembered for the twisted jokes he played on everyone he loved. Teddy was an avid hunter; he was known to always fall in the water while fishing. He enjoyed winter sled rides, camping trips with bon fires, ice skating and building go-karts. When a person was in need Teddy would always be there to help. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service to be held Friday August 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Columbia Valley Cemetery, Austinville, PA,. His sister and neighbors to honor and celebrate his life will share words of tribute. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the NRA or your local Cancer Society. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Guthrie Hospice for the wonderful care and never ending love given to Teddy during his illness.
