Vogle, Theodore James Jr. age 87 of Appleridge, Horseheads, NY, passed away Sunday, December 29th, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born in Rochester, NY,April 29th, 1926 the son of the late Theodore and Dolores (Stark) Vogle. Surviving is his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary (Gough) Vogle of Horseheads; children;Mary Elizabeth (Stephen) Colucci of Ithaca, NY, TJ (Cynthia) Vogle of Damascus, MD, William A. Vogle of Virginia Beach, VA,James E. (Samantha) Vogle of Lexington, KY:5 grandchildren; David Anthony, Gregory Donald Colucci,J. Brandon, Ryan Christopher Beatty, andChih-Ting Yen. Theodore loved his work as a salesman, consultant, designer and representative for Koppers Inc.,making salesman of the year, year after year. He began his career with KoppersInc. in 1955 and retired in 1988 at the age of 62. After his retirement he consulted with KoppersInc. for several years. He loved to paint, with his great friend Bob Horgan, and volunteer his time as a Eucharistic minister of Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Midlothian, VA and spending time at the YMCA there. He was proud to be a Navy Veteran of World War II. He graduated from RIT with an Associates Degree in Art.Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary Our Mother Church, 816 W. Broadway, Horseheads, NY, onSaturday, January 4th, 2014 at 9:30 am.
