Jesus received a very special birthday gift when Sandy was called to Heaven this beautiful Christmas day.A proud and life-long resident of Southport, she is predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy Fitzpatrick.She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years and soul mate, Richard.She was the sunshine of her children's lives, Laura "Huggy" (Jay) Moylan, John Bovaird (Patti Chalk), Ricki (Dave) King, Katie (Tony) Coleman, Brian (Heather) Nichols, and Meaghan (John) Osterhout.She was blessed to be surrounded by eighteen grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley), Theresa (Ryan), Kathy, Katrina, Joyce, Ozzy, Alex, Gary, Edward, Laura, Elizabeth, Jayden, Alondra, Gavin, Helaina, Seann, Gabriel, Olivia, and Trent as well as 1 great granddaughter Trista and a very special niece, Lori (Brett) Holton, their children Ben, Audrey, and Lizzy.Her two sisters Patricia Rogers and JoAnn Brown will dearly miss her contagious laughter.Sandy blessed all those she came in contact with and will be missed by hundreds.We take comfort by the knowledge that we now have our blue eyed dimpled angel smiling down on us.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 5th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, New York.Funeral service will be held there following calling hours at 1:00 PM.Mary Osterhout will officiate.Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Elmira.Guest book may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
