Thomas E. Kirkpatrick

Was born October 21, 1923 in Elmira, NY the son of the late, George and Martha (Hamfelt) Kirkpatrick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Van Duyn Nursing Home in Syracuse, NY at the age of 88. His loving wife, Alice (Lattmere) Kirkpatrick preceded him in death on August 29, 2002. His brother and sister-in-law, William George and Florence Kirkpatrick and his sister and brother-in-law. Anna and Robert Losinger also predeceased him. He is survived by his beloved children, Barbara Kirkpatrick of Syracuse, NY; Kathleen Kirkpatrick of Yonkers, NY; Dr. Daniel (Jeanne) Kirkpatrick of Wadsworth, OH; granddaughters, Jennifer and Shannon; along with several nieces and nephews. Thomas was a faithful member of the Oakwood Avenue United Methodist Church in Elmira Heights. He retired from Collins & Walton Plumbing & Heating Contractors, Inc. after several years of dedicated service. He was also a member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home,Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NYon Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. Funeral Services honoring his life will follow the visitation at 2:30 PM. His nephew, the Reverend Mike Losinger will celebrate Thomas's service.
