Thomas R. Polidori

Thomas R. Polidori of Elmira passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at the age of 87 with family at this his side.He was born on April 3, 1928 in Elmira, NY to Frank and Giulia (Balomo) Polidori.Tom (as he was known to all that knew and loved him) was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jeanne and loving sister, Marcelina Johnson.Tom is survived by this 2 children: Timothy (Mary Ann) Polidori and Linda (Kevin) Dickinson; his 5 grandchildren: Giulia Dickinson, Mary Beth Polidori, Matthew Dickinson, Kelly Polidori, and Whitney Dickinson; and 1 great grandson: Eli Thomas Loucks.Tom was a retired employee of McMillan Bodell.He will be remembered for his honesty and unconditional love.He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.Tom will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing him. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira/Southport, NY onFriday, July 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Mary’s Church, 224 Franklin St., Elmira, NY, at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
