Thomas W. Schwab

Age 26, son of Mary Elizabeth (Bassett) Schwab and Thomas C. Schwab, went to be with his Savior unexpectedly on Sunday, May 16, 2010. His paternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Schwab of Mansfield, PA and uncle D. J. Bassett of Sullivanville, NY predeceased Thomas. He is survived by his grandparents, Donald and Hildegarde Bassett of Sullivanville, NY; sister, Suzanne Bassett and fiancée, Keith Youngs; niece, Biaca Youngs; brothers, Joseph and Daniel Schwab; daughter, Nakendra and her mother, Jessica; sister, Rebecca Caccia and her husband, Chris; nephews, Ryan, Derick and Evan; niece, Hailey; cousins, Katie and Michael Bassett; aunts, Debra Bassett and Linda Farrer; uncles, John and Frank Schwab of Pennsylvania; special friends, Tommy, Margie Luna and Tom Jennings of Horseheads. Tommy was a member of St. Mary Our Mother Church parish of Horseheads, a graduate of Horseheads High School and served in the US Army. Tommy was an avid Buffalo Sabres fan and enjoyed all types of music from the Beatles to Radiohead and Tom Petty. Tommy will be sadly and deeply missed by all those who knew him. A gathering of his family and friends will take place at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. He will be laid to rest privately at the convenience of his family in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery, Horseheads, NY. A 'Candle of Remembrance' may be left for his family in obituaries atwww.olthof.com
