Type Obit HereTia Rachelle Brant of Millerton, PA was born December 16, 1989 in Elmira, NY the adored daughter of Terry and Michelle (Kellogg) Brant, was ushered home by heavens angels to be with her Lord on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the age of 17. Her younger sister, Charlotte L. Brant on June 5, 1998 predeceased her. She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Merlyn Brant; aunt, Deborah (Brant) Ginnan; uncle, Jeffery Kellogg. Tia is survived by her loving parents, Terry and Michelle; beloved siblings, Jeffrey Brant stationed at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX; Raylene Brant and Sarai-Ann Brant both at home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Sharon Kellogg of Millerton, PA; paternal grandmother, Dolly Brant of Lindley, NY; maternal great grandmother, Charlotte Barnes of Millerton, PA; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, classmates and best friend, Cindy Wilbur of Lawrenceville, PA. Tia was a Senior at Williamson High School Class of 2008 and had been accepted at Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA. She was a member of the National Honor Society, an outstanding musician and accomplished flutist, a member of the High School Band as well as Drum Majorette and co-Vice President of her band. Her gift was poetry, with 22 of her original pieces appearing on the web site, poetry.com. She was also a very spiritual girl with a deep love for her Lord and the Millerton Wesleyan Church. She was extremely involved with her church and enjoyed her ministry with the Patchwork Puppets. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Millerton Wesleyan Church Route #328 Millerton, PA on Saturday, October 13, 2007 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life and honor her memory will be held following the visitation at 4 PM. Her Pastor and friend the Reverend Laurie Greenlaw will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family in the Webb Mills Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved sister, Charlotte. Memorial donations may be directed to the Tia Rachelle Brant Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
