Vera Mae Sheele

Age 90, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2003 at Riverview Manor Health Care Center in Owego, NY.Vera was predeceased by her husbands; Arthur Edward Pearson and Walter Sheele.She is survived by her son; Douglas J. & Susan Pearson of Elmira Heights, and daughter; Christina Ann Pearson of Lawndale, CA, grandchildren; David D. & Cynthia Pearson of Elmira Heights, Julia D. & Ben Lau of Elmira Heights, Luke T. & Annamarie Pearson of Phillipine Islands, great grandchildren; Andrew, Joseph Phillip & Rachelle Pearson, Christian, Suyen Lau, Olivia & Jonathan Pearson.Vera was a devoted Christian who taught Sunday School at 1st Presbyterian Church in Hollywood, CA.Shewas a devoted mother to her handicapped daughter in California.It was Vera?s request that there be no calling hours.Funeral service will be held in Faith Tabernacle Church, 155 Lenox Ave., Horseheads, NY on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 7:00 PM.Reverend John Stutzman will officiate.Interment at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira.Memorial donations may be made to Luke T. & Annamarie Pearson in the Phillipine Islands, C/O 253 W. 11th Street, Elmira Heights, NY 14903.A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for the family at www.olthof.com.
