Verna Irene Treadeau

Verna Irene Treadeau Born September 3, 1924 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late George and Verna (Farmwald) Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and her beloved granddaughter, Debbie Rarick. She is survived by her loving daughters: Linda (Keith) Spencer, Carol (Robert) Tarr and Virginia (Donald) Holmes; along with 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. It was Irene's request that there be no prior visitation and that private services take place at the convenience of her family in Fitzsimmons Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 505 North Parkway, Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
