Vernon Keith Carle

Age 92, of Hoffman Hollow Road, Lowman died Monday, July 7, 2003 at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads.Mr. Carle was born April 5, 1911 in Kingston, PA, the son of the late George and Hazel (Tine) Carle. He served in the Army from 1929 to 1955 during World War I, World War II, and the Korea War .He was employed by Shepard Hills Golf Course, Waverly, NY as a caretaker for many years.He is survived by his wife: Hazel (Buck) Carle, and sister-in-law, Blanche Beckwith of PA.In accordance with Vernon?s wishes, there will be no calling hours, and he will be buried at Woodlawn National Cemetery.
