Vesa Viola â??Bessie�? Daniels

Age 94 of Pine City, NY, entered into peaceful rest Sunday, June 5th, 2005 at the St. Joseph?s Hospital, Elmira.She was born in Lindley, NY, the 8th day of July, 1910. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Estella Eldred Goodrich. Bessie was predeceased by her son, Earl Johns Jr.; daughter, Viola Fultz ; sisters, Nell Cornish and Mary Hitchens; brother, Tink Goodrich.Surviving Bessie are her children, Ray and Lena Johns of Elmira, NY; Richard Johns of Horseheads, NY; Linda and Robert Harris of Big Flats, NY; Peggy Buckley of Newfield, NY; Paul and Barb Daniels of Pine City, NY; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Lillian Personius of Montour Falls, NY; and several nieces and nephews.Bessie worked for Corning Inc. for many years.She loved to dance and was an avid bingo and card player.The family sends a special ?Thank You? to Betty and Pat Kerr and Sue Stanton. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 from 6 to 8 pm.
