Viola W. Collson

Age 85, was born October 1, 1927 in Herrickville, PA the daughter of the late Clarence and Marian (Grippen) Tucker passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, M. Robert "Bob" Collson; daughter, Patricia (Pete) Homerda of Elmira, NY; sons, Jack (Colleen) Collson of Pine City, NY; Gary Collson of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Scott Homerda, Mathew Collson and Noah Collson of Elmira, NY; Rianne Collson of Canandaigua, NY; Zac Collson of Arizona; great grandson, Hunter Homerda; sisters, Norma Grover of Springhill, FL; Florence (Pete) Duarte of Hunt, TX; brothers, Raymond Tucker of Horseheads, NY; Allen Tucker of Castle Rock, CO; Duane (Barb) Tucker of Fruita, CO; along with several nieces and nephews. Her brother, Howard Tucker, sister, Marie Beebe, brother-in-law, John Grover and sister-in-law, Jean Tucker preceded Viola in death. She was a retiree of the Elmira City School District after several years of dedicated service. At Viola's request, there will be no prior calling hours and private funeral arrangements will be made at the convenience of the family.
