Virginia M. Shelley

Virginia M. Shelley, 87 of Elmira, NY, crossed over unexpectedly at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Friday, September 16, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Dale B. Shelley; parents, Emil and Laura Steika Olson; and brother, Bobby Olson. Virginia is survived by her special friends, Eileen Taluba Randolph, Frank and Gloria Romen; sister-in-law, Joyce (Carmen) Pagano; and brother-in-law, Richard (Mary) Shelley. Virginia retired from Westinghouse in 1988 after many years of dedicated service. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) with funeral service celebrating Virginia’s life to follow at noon. Interment will immediately follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery where she’ll be laid to rest with her husband, Dale. Pastor Krista Mendoza will officiate.
