Walter S. Corbett

Corbett, Walter S., long time resident of Troy, Pa died on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Robert Packer Hospital.He is survived by his wife, Florence, his son, Bill, and daughter, Kathy (Fred Mack), and six grandchildren.He served with the 3rd Infantry Division in World War II, and later was a public school teacher and administrator.Well respected in his community, he served on the Troy Council, was a member of the Troy Lions Club, and was a Mason.His interests were hunting and fishing and he loved playing bridge.His family will miss him.There will be no calling hours or service.Donations may be made to the charity of one?s choice or Robert Packer Hospital, Guthrie Health Resource Development, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA 18840.Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com .
