Wendy J Overton

Wendy Jane Overton, beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, & Nana passed away peacefully on September 16, 2012 at the age of 64. She is predeceased by her loving parents Russell & Betty Hamilton. Wendy was the devoted mother of Jessica Overton of Elmira, and Jason (Alexandra) Overton of Buffalo.Wendy was the proud grandmother of Sawyer Nicole Overton.She is also survived by her brothers RJ (Delphine) Hamilton & David Hamilton as well as several nieces and nephews; including Shannon Russ, Sean Hamilton, and Travis Hamilton.Wendy lived life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to laugh and love with her wonderful friends and family throughout Elmira, her time at Pizza Hut, and the many summers at Lake Bonin.A celebration of her life reception will be held at the Hibernians Center, 701 Kinyon St, from 6-10pm on Thursday September 20th.In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Wendy may do so through memorials to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
