FRIENDS, Wilbur L.Age 84 Of Bethany Manor formerly of Millerton, PA passed away on July 13, 2006 at Bethany CourtyardWilbur was born January 1, 1922 in Millerton, PA the son of the late Leonard and Bessie Friends.He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary of Bethany Manor, Horseheads, NY, sons; Laverne (Carolyn) Friends of Orlando, Fl, Edward (Mary Ann) Friends of Horseheads, NY, Lynn (Colleen) Friends of Millerton, PA, daughter; Nancy (Ron) Young of Boiling Springs, PA. 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sisters In-law and brothers In-law; Hilda Allen, Josephine ?Mike? & Marion Smith, Rexford Card and Nils & Patricia Card, also several nieces and nephews.Wilbur was a Dairy Farmer; he retired after 38 years of farming. He was a member of Northern Tioga Combined School Board, member of the Dairymen?s League and the Farm Bureau, member of the Alder Run Grange, and a member of the West Jackson Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday July 22, 2006 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service there at 3:00 PM followed by burial in Alder Run Cemetery, Alder Run, PA. Those wishing may make memorials to the American Cancer Society in Wilbur?s memory.
