Wilkie J. Teeter

Age 77 of Elmira, NY, was given the hand of his Lord and placed by his side on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Chemung County Nursing Facility. Wilkie was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Allen Teeter; son, Kevin Teeter in May of 2008; daughter, Cynthia Ann Teeter in July of 2008; and parents, Jake and Maude Chapman Teeter. He is survived by his daughter and son in-law, Sherry and Thomas Neal of Ohio; sisters, Doris Burgess and Arlie Siler, both of Elmira, NY; sister in-law, Ruth Teeter of Horseheads, NY; and a host of special nieces and nephews.Wilkie retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after over 25 years in the Maintenance Department, and was a devoted member of the Elmira Wesleyan Church.Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. ; 1050 Pennsylvania Ave.; Southport/Elmira, on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, with Funeral Service there Monday at 10:00 AM . Graveside committal prayers will follow in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luther Mills, PA, where he will be placed in peace next to the children he dearly missed, Kevin and Cynthia.
