William J. Beckhorn

William J. BeckhornAge 81, passed away at the Bath VA on Saturday, December 22, 2007. He was born in Elmira, NY. Mr. Beckhorn is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Doris (Lang) Beckhorn, sons: Gary (Marion), Alan, Wayne (Nita) and Thomas Beckhorn, daughters: Gail Beckhorn, Elaine (Rafael) Hernandez, Eileen (Tracy) Best, Tammy (Tom) Bennett, Stacey (Matt) Weed, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack loved to play euchere with his family and friends and was an avid gardener. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira on Thursday, December 27th from 6 Pm to 8 PM with a funeral service honoring his life to follow at 8 PM. Mr. Beckhorn will be laid to rest at the Bath National Cemetery in Bath, NY on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM where he will be accorded full military honors.
