William Edgar Herrick

Age 79, of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Lee Herrick; daughter, JoAnn (Richard) Sansone, of Margate FL; granddaughters, Janelle Potter and Karen Piotrowski, of Buffalo, NY; sister, Joyce Christy of Elmira, NY; several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Predeceased by grandson, Dennis Hoskins and parents, Johns and Jennie Herrick. William was the owner/operator of Herrick?s Barber Shop, and a barber for over forty years. Former member of the Chemung County Rod & Gun Club, member of Pennsylvania United Methodist Church, a United States Navy Veteran of WW II and an avid fisherman. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with Funeral and Committal there at 1:00 PM.
