William M. Husted

Was born September 4, 1936 in Elmira, the sonof the late William and Geraldine (Vanderpool) Husted, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after an extended illness. He is survived by his devoted and loving companion of 18 years, Marlene Hitchcock; brothers and sister-in-laws: Robert and Fonda Husted, Terry and Diane Husted, Ronald and Donna Freeman; along with several nieces and nephews. Bill proudly served his country in United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He worked for 14 years as a handler with the US Postal Service on Sullivan St. in Elmira. Private services will be held at the convenience of his family at a later date and time.
