William M. Johnson

Johnson, William M. age 73 of Pine City, NY passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, 2016 at home. Bill is survived by his wife, Lois McBride-Johnson; her daughters, Katherine Strawn Packard (Doug), Elizabeth DePue, Adrienne Harnas; along with several much loved grand kids. He is also survived by his children, Karin (Debbie) Johnson, Terry Johnson and Jeffrey Johnson and their families, with special granddaughter Kayla. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and best friend, Rick Allington, beloved pets Jamie, Chloe and sometimes Mulligan. He was a friend of Bill W. for 32 years.Bill served in the United States Navy for 20 years and achieved the rank of CPO/Chief I.M. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked as an office equipment technician in the area until his retirement in 2004. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his private 150 acre hunting preserve. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Memorial services celebrating Bill’s life will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 12:00PM. Graveside services will follow with full military honors accorded at the Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira.
