William L. Leff

Leff, William L. age 77 of Southport, NY. Passed away very unexpectedly at home. He was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania November 12th, 1938; The son of the late Gerald and Almeda (Ameigh) Leff. Surviving is his wife of 35 years Kathleen (Ackley) Leff; Daughter: Tammy (Mike Ward) Barton of Pine City; Son: William Jr. (Crystal) Leff of Cochranville, PA; Son: Scott (Tammy) Leff of Bentley Creek; Daughter: Stacey Ostrander of Troy, PA.; Daughter: Susan (Greg) Snyder of Millerton, PA; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; Sister: Mildred Turner of Southport; along with several nieces and nephews; Father in law: Charles D. Ackley of Burdett, NY; Sisters in law: Charlene (Albert) Root, Darlene (Dick) Jaynes, Eileen (Rick) Dean; Brother in law: Charles D.(Jan) Ackley; Sister in law: Marlene McMinds; along with best friends: Neil Alden, and Glen Jacobson. William was a retired correction officer, and Member of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church. He was loved by his many family members and friends from all walks of life. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Saturday, December 19th, 2015 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Williams’ life will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 8:00PM. Graveside services will remain private at the familys’ convenience in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
