William "Willy" R. Clark

William R. "Willie" ClarkWas born July 30, 1956 in Elmira, NY passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center at the age of 59. His father, Ray Cornish preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 19 years, Karen R. Swan; children: daughter, Tara (Tim) Gullo and their children: Ashalee, Nathan, Caiden, Devin and Aleeyah; son: Eric Wessel (Lisa Kinner) and his children: Chase and Hailey all of Elmira, NY; beloved mother: Erma Clark; life-long best friend: Billy Ricks of Wellsburg, NY; "second Father": Tom Bush of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Willie was employed at Chemung Canal Trust Company for 34 years. He tended bar at Mac's Tavern for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting at his hunting camp in Chemung, fishing, especially at the Beaverkill River, camping at the Butternut Grove Campsite and enjoyed golfing. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
