William C. Warner

William C. Warner Jr. Age 99, born October 1st, 1917 in Elmira, NY to the late William C. and Myrtle E. (Gleckler) Warner Sr., passed away peacefully at Elcor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eleanor Baldwin Warner in 1993; and his sister, Mary Warner Hoffman. He is survived by nieces and nephews, William V. (Barbara) Morrell, William (Linda) Hoffman, George Hoffman, Peggy (Jock) Brodie, Mary (George) Baldwin Iverson, Ambrose Scudder, and Sue (David Norcross) Scudder; sister-in-law, Margery Scudder Ritter; special great-niece, Beth Morrell; and many other great-nieces and great-nephews. William was a graduate of the former Cook Academy of Montour Falls, NY. He worked at the former Bendix Corp for many years. William enjoyed fishing, golf and cheering on his favorite team, the Mets. He was a long time member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Elmira. Funeral and Commital Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
