William M. Westlake

Age 68 of Horseheads, NY died Monday October 4, 2010 in the comfort of his home after an extended illness. Bill was born on November 21, 1941 in Elmira, NY,the son of the late Frank and Lena Westlake. He is also predecesed by his wife, Phyllis Shearer, and son Michael Westlake. He is survived by a special friend, soul mate and caregiver, Beverly Girven, two brothers, Franklin (Marie) Westlake, and David (Mary Ann) Westlake; sons Jeffrey (Cynthia) Westlake of S. Carolina, Keith Westlake of California, and Christopher (Laura) Westlake of California; step-daughters, Tonya (Daryl) Davis and Katrina (Darin) Magee of Elmira, NY. 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and dear friends, Dick & Sandy Arnold.Bill was retired from Naglee Moving & Storage. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to Atlantic City, and riding his motorbike. The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport on Saturday October 9, 2010 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Saturday at 1:00 PM. The Reverend William Wells will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
