Weston, William A.,Age 71.Born September 30, 1941,passed away Friday October 12, 2012 after a lengthy illness with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He is survived by wife, Shirley A. Weston; daughter,Lisa C. Weston of Bethlehem, Ga.; son,Robert W. Weston II (Nicole) and their children Emily and Jack of Fairport, N.Y.; daughter, Brandy E. Reeve and her children Tylor and Blake ofBel Air, Md; and son William T. Reeve (Kirsten) of Pine City, N.Y.; brothers, John R. Weston and Thomas G. Weston of Elmira, N.Y., Virginia Costello of Southport, N.Y. William was predeceased by his parents Robert W. and Sybil E. Costello Weston; brothers Norman M. and David J. Weston; mother-in-law, Donna L. Northrup.William retired from Anchor Glass Container after 47 years in various transportation assignments. He graduated from Southside High School and Elmira College & The College of Advanced Traffic. He formerly served as the president of Elmira-Corning Area Traffic Club, Twin Tier Transportation Association and the local chapter of Delta Nu Alpha TransportationFraternity. William previously served as Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of Americaand spent six years in the US Army Reserves. Bill Was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Horseheads. His interests included: his family, history,Geography, reading, gardening and traveling, especially on cruises.Calling hours will be held at the Olthof Funeral Home 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, N.Y. on Thursday October 18, 2012from 5:00 PMto 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church 1034 West Broad Street, Horseheads, N.Y. on Friday October 19, at12:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to CareFirst (formerly Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care) or First United Methodist Church in Horseheads, N.Y. for their "Prayer Garden
