Age 70 of Trescott Drive Pine city, NY went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2003 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 18, 1932 in Richmond Hill, Long Island the daughter of the late Harold W. and Alice L. (Burgess) Bixler. Elizabeth is survived by her loving and caring husband of 45 years, Albert R. Draht; daughter, Susan Draht of Horseheads, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Kym Draht also of Horseheads, NY; brothers and sister-in-laws, David and Irene Bixler of Sonoma, CA; Fred and Marilyn Bixler of Pine City, NY; brother-in-law, Louis & EvelynDraht of Florida; sister-in-law, Frances Jacobus of Horseheads, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nephew, David Mark Bixler. Elizabeth was a long-time member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and the Seaman?s Church Institute Knitters. She was also a member of the Seven Lakes Girl Scout Council and the Family Debt Counseling Service. She was a volunteer with the March of Dimes and most recently the R.S.V.P. Mrs. Draht was also on the Cemetery Commission for the Town of Southport. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904 on Monday, April 21, 2003 from 2 ? 4 and 7 ? 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 22 at 10:00 AM in the Trinity Episcopal Church 304 North Main Street Elmira, NY 14901 the Reverend William Lutz will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery Elmira, NY. The Family will provide their own flowers.
