Charles Edward Bachman

Age 80, of Breesport/North Chemung Road, Lowman, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at St. Joseph?s Hospital. He was born January 20, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Louis and Mary (Star) Bachman. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Wynne) Bachman; beloved children, Dorothea (James) Elston of North Chemung, NY; Charles (Diane) Bachman of Philadelphia, PA; Richard (Marge) Bachman of Cinnaminson, NJ; along with 9 much loved grandchildren and 13 adored great grandchildren. Mr. Bachman was a Veteran of the US Navy and proudly served his country during WW II. He was an active teamster for 42 years and retired after 23 years from Proctor Express as a truck driver.At his request there will be no prior calling hours.
