Charlotte Smith

Ended her earthly journey on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the age of 97. She was born March 5, 1909 in Roseville, PA the daughter of the late Nathan and Libbie (Brown) Chamberlain. CharlotteMa, Aunt or Grandma to many, was predeceased by her husband, Wendell; siblings, Emma, Edna, Ulysses (Monroe), Adrian and son-in-law, John. Celebrating life is her daughter, Doris; grandchildren, Dolleen (Donald; John (Lore); great grandchildren, Angela, Sarah and Brian; siblings, Bethaldo and William; along with many more nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring her life will be celebrated at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Chaplin Bill Kiser and the Reverend Dennis Christiansen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Watson Cemetery, Roseville, PA. The family has arranged for flowers. Charlotte asked that any memorial donations be directed to the First Baptist Church 121 West Church Street Elmira, NY 14901. The family wishes to thank the staff, volunteers and friends at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit for their outstanding love and care given to Charlotte.
